I hate that "standard tubs" are so small!
I've been looking into garden tubs, and I want something that I could actually take a bath in, and be submersed in more than 6'' of water before the tub overflows...
is a garden tub what I'm looking for?

Surface Prep Before Cornerbead?
I guess the wallboard would be considered a "non porous" surface, so do I need to sand it lightly before mudding in the cornerbead so it will really stick?

Tankless water heater in MH?
I would love to replace my ginormous water heater with one of these, as we would need the option of never running out of hot water.
Would it just be installed like it would be in a stick built?
Thanks.

RE: Will LocTite Construction Adhesive be strong enough...
the No-Coat is awesome, I'd never use vinyl or metal bead after having this product.
you are supposed to use compound, because when the compound mixes with their special paper coating it creates almost a glue that really adheres to the wall... so I guess I answered my own question

I don't want ...

RE: Kilz preminum primer compatibility question
I'm using the Kilz Odorless primer, which is quite similar to the Premium, and have used the Kilz Original (because it's formulated to stick to glossy or wallpapered... hello wallboard... surfaces) and am painting with a latex paint, not one problem yet!

that's what I'm going to do, actually. In most of the rooms where there won't be heavy stuff on the shelves, great minds think alike!

here is an idea, if the doors just wiggle more than you like, or jump around when they are slammed, you could try to put in extra screws, and then drill holes and shoot some LOW EXPANDING foam insulation in the spaces between the frame and the inside of the wall. it could stiffen them up some I saw...

Re: RE: How can I reinforce interior door frames?
Hi In my home you would have to remove the wall paneling and add studs and header. Are you trying to make the rooms more secure? Harry The rooms are secure and all, I just noticed when replacing the trim and removing some nails the door frames didn't seem as "firm" as they should be, or a...

Should I wait a certain amount of time before priming and painting? I have no idea about this, so any help would be appreciated!
