RE: looking for electrical advice

IF it is one circuit only (all outlets/switches effected on same circuit)and it is ALL of that circuit (nothing on circuit works): IF there are any GFCI outlets reset/test those. If no GFCI outlets present on circuit, inspect the first outlet/switch on the circuit and check for loose Hot wire or Neu...

RE: nordyne m1m

Hi, The transformer supplies your low voltage circuit to operate t-stat and relays and such. It has no impact on voltage supplied to blower motor itself. To know what the motor is or isn't doing, you would need to measure the voltage supplied to it when it seems sluggish. Also, you would need an amp...

RE: nordyne elec furnace part

Hi,

If this is the same person who quoted you $1,100 to repair it, can you tell me what color wire is connected to what letter terminal on t-stat?

Thanks,
Robert

Do you have A/C also or just Heat ?

If you have A/C also, switch t-stat to Cool and see if blower remains on through the cycle.

If so, you most likely just need a Sequencer.

Hi, Ignition failure is usually one of these 3: Flame Sensor # 025-35354-000 @ $21 Hot Surface Ignitor (HSI) # 1474-052P @ $39.99 Gas Valve (least likely) Go here to see them, click on pics for enlarged views: http://www.mobilehomerepair.com/ColemanGas.html On the Flame Sensor, do not touch with bar...

Hi,

We have the parts. The Sequencer and Relay plus shipping totals $60.

If you are slightly handy with tools/repairs, this is a definate DIY task.

$1,100 is a rip and absurd.

What is the furnace doing in case it was misdiagnosed ?

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
