Mouse away

I found a big bag of lime at our church in the shed. I'm wondering if spreading it under my mobile home will keep the mice away this winter.
Now is the time to do it before it gets too cold.
Thanks

Re: Two breakers

Well I figured it out myself ! I took the covers off and saw wires go from one breaker to one element. The wires from the second breaker go to the second element. Before they go to the elements they go to a component of some kind then the red go to an element and the black go to the other. I turned ...

Re: Removing a hitch

I rented in a double wide that had the double hitches still on. The owner was gonna have a kid grind them off but I told him don't worry bout it cause I'm gonna build a deck over top on them. It worked out great. If your deck will be high enough to cover them don't go through all the trouble. Good l...

Re: Funky Smell

It good to take the time and check yer vent pipe cause my shower head was loose in the wall. So I had access through a bedroom next to it. When I removed the panel I found the vent pipe that went up to the roof was sitting on the floor and not into the pipe where it belonged. I slid it up and stuck ...

Re: evaporator coils

I asked a similar question. I have a 5" dia soft black that hangs from the ceiling. I was told it helps keep the attic or crawl space cooler especially with a metal roof.
Hope that helps ya.

Cleaning ac vents

I cleaned my ac vents today. This is the way I did it . I took a stiff tape measure and shoved it into one vent to the next. I bent the end over and taped it in a loop. I then tied a piece of rope to the tape and pulled it through. I then tied a heavy sweat shirt to the rope. I then dunked the shirt...
