Re: Corrugated metal ceiling

I'm not a gambling man, but if I were, I'd bet you a box of donuts, that those white panels, in the pictures are corrugated PVC or plastic. They align and lay too perfectly together. Next time your in HD, please check out their roofing/fencing section. They have the expensive corrugated metal panels...

Re: Total Remodel - Project 2: Kitchen

I'm probably one of the few to say this, but I love that broom closet, in your kitchen. Yes, it's seen better days, but it's one of those things that belong in a kitchen, in a trailer. If it's still there, please, try to save it. If for nothing else, it's good storage. (my trailer has a built in des...

Re: Corrugated metal ceiling

I really like the look, very urban/industrial loft. I can see that when the panels aren't alligned perfectly, the results may be too abandoned/burned out/crack house building. I like the idea of the suspended or drop ceiling effect. However those delicate little tracks used may defeat the whole inte...

Re: bringing down the kitchen!

Looks (and I would bet) works much better as a kitchen with those upper island cabinets gone. More light, from the sliders and it has that open concept look and feel. This is my kind of project. I'm very good at the demo part. Unfortunately, not very skilled with the 'put back together part'. Althou...

Exterior painting

Hi all, I realize it is a matter of choice but I'm asking what is the 'normal' when painting the exterior of the trailer and the trim. I live in a 1978 triple trailer (wood sided and trimmed). After days of searching I found and have painted the body of the trailer the most incredible white in histo...

Re: Water filter

Hi, I was able to upload the picture. This is what the whole house water filter looks like connected at my home. I think it does a very nice job at keeping the sediment and other water line clogging stuff from entering into the house plumbing lines. dave

Re: Waterr filter

Hi, my place has this thing called a whole house water filter. It looks very easy to install, for a plumber or a decent DIY'er, neither of which I am. All I have to do it is change the filter 4 times a year. Available at Lowe's: Whirlpool Clear Whole House Water Filtration System Item #: 89378 | Mod...

Re: Total Remodel

It may not have been the best vacation but darn it, everytime you look at your new deck and stair cases: you should feel like your on vacation. You took the time to craft the dual sided stairs, put post lights on and finish it beautifully. IT IS GORGEOUS!!!

Re: Master bedroom closet

The master bedroom bath is rougly a 'square' shape at 12 x 13. The garden tub was 5 x 6. After the tub removal and framing in of the perimeter of the old tub, the bathroom became 'L' shaped. The space that was occupied by the tub was widened a bit and became the almost 6 x 6 walk in closet. Because ...

Master bedroom closet

Hi All, new to this great site and was having an issue with the redesign of the bathroom in the master bedroom so I thought I'd share the solution I came up with. The garden tub shared a common wall with the master bedroom and I didn't need the tub. Replacing the tub with a new one was going to be c...
