FYI - it seems to have worked. Patch is solid, though I wouldn't want to put a lot of weight on it. At least it should not leak until I can fix it. I have the typical plastic shower pan and there is a small crack in it. I'd like to be able to delay replacing it for at least a short while. Need to patch it for now.

Will fiberglass work if I rough it up?

Also, are these made of ABS plastic? I do have some ABS glue.

Well, the baking soda and vinegar didn't do anything.

Sounds like that's worth a try. I also use it for drains, never thought about cleaning with it.

May also try some "Krud Kutter" if the vinegar doesn't work.

I installed a shower stall a few years ago, two-piece, plastic of course.

The floor has become stained (dirty feet ) and I am looking for a good way to get it clean again. I don't want to use anything abrasive or harsh to the plastic. I'm at a loss.

My shingles are getting old - 21 years - and I tend to lose a few every time the winds pick up over 30mph. So I am thinking of doing some work on the roof. Maybe new shingles. Well, after having no luck I decided to just scrape it. UV over the years made it quite crispy so it came off a lot quicker and easier than I had anticipated.

I guess the best additive is still elbow grease!

I have a couple of windows with the remnants of one of those "stained glass" stick-ons. I can scrape it off as a last resort, but if anyone knows of a spray on liquid that might make it easier to remove, that would be helpful.
