What type & gauge of metal roof panels?
I bought Mark Bower's book so that I could get the information on the DYI metal re-roof; great info! I still have a question, though: what gauge should the metal be? and there appear to be several different kinds of metal panels; which type would be the best?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Building a new roof over a MH
P.S. I should have mentioned: we own the land the MH is on. And, we live in Colorado, where we can get NO snow one winter, and HEAPS the next.

Weatherization Program
I've benefited from the info on this site, so I wanted to share some great info in exchange. We qualified for a federally-funded weatherization program that resulting in us getting wall and ceiling insulation, new furnace, pellet stove, storm windows, and refrigerator -- installed -- for free. This ...

Building a new roof over a MH
I LOVE this website; thank you to those of you who maintain it! We bought a 73 double-wide that was still structurally sound (saved it from demolition!), and we refurbished it. Now we're ready to tackle the exterior: Replace the post/beam front porch's rotten plywood-&-shingle roof. Replace the ...
