Bathroom tub diverter spigot inlet size?
Hi all - the diverter part of the tub spigot quit; thus no showers; only baths. I unscrewed it and took to Home Depot to attempt to get a quick handy replacement; no need to keep old one (I thought) so I threw it out several months ago. Went to Depot and was assured it was an "exact fit" t...

Re: Would this be too heavy for my floor - 1988 double wide?...
Thanks, Greg - does anybody else have LARGE organs in their mobile home? I'm restoring this one - it's a 1927 Skinner from the Ritz Theater in New York.
I'll build a pier under where this organ will be going - should weigh around 500 pounds maybe?.....
God Bless,
Mark

Re: elbow at water heater; FIXED it!
Well.. good news and bad news. Fixed the leak by getting a sharkbite converter from the polybutelene pipe installed 27 years ago - jury rigged it to some CPVC elbows and some sections from 2' of CPVC 3/4" pipe. Used a brass 3/4" to cpvc convertor at the water heater and glued it all togeth...

Plumbing Help needed for elbow at water heater
HI gang! Snooped around the water leak to find the water leak in my home is NOT due to a rain cap on the furnace flue - there is a drip at this thing..... http://www.onmyfacebeforehim.com/split%20in%20pipe.jpg In the picture, the work "SPLIT" got cropped out a little - I did pretty good ge...

Re: 1988 Intertherm heatright propane furnace "rain cap"
Thanks for the reply, Greg; by roof jack you're talking about the roofing under the cap? I guess the cap unscrews.... just remove on a sunny day and cart off to Home Depot for a fit with a new replacement.
Thanks ---- Mark

Re: drip DRIP D-R-I-P! Water heater pressure valve
Thanks JP. Yes, in ways I've been blessed - the tank is 25 years old and the water pump 260 feet down is the original one!! Let's pray the threads don't give way when I try and wrench it out next weekend. I've still got my 36" socket prybar from my mechanic days in the 60's. That'll either dest...

Noticed after some rains the floor in the laundry room is sagging. Oh my stars. I thought water might have been coming in through the back door and getting under the linoleum make the floor warp. Thanks to my cat, Jane, she was snooping at the real problem - after a bad rain she was nosing around th...

drip DRIP D-R-I-P! Water heater pressure valve
Been hearing a dripping under the home. Finally got the nerve to get under the house in 40 degree weather with a runny nose and waller around in mud. Well... thank goodness no mud, but I did see what the dripping was all about. A white drain pipe ... water dripping into a pool of water collecting un...
