Re: Evaporator coil help,
Ok, well basically if you cannot find a factory replacement. Try to find an A Coil that is the same dimensions or darn close to it. I found this link to ebay for a seller who says they have most mobile home coils, http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-1-2-Ton-Mobile-Home-Coil-Replacement-for-C3BA-030U-B-C3QA-03...

Re: Installing New Waterlines
Looks really good! Glad you liked the manifold concept. One thing though, you should really use copper or plastic clamps to clamp that copper manifold. Using other metals like steel against copper can cause it to wear fast. I forget the technical term for it but you should use copper coated, copper ...

Re: thermostat wiring ?
I think what Greg is trying to say is to buy a wire that is long enough. You can buy single strains of wire at auto stores/big box hardware stores. Instead of having a splice somewhere.

Re: Well storage tank? PEX main line?
That black pipe is most likely Polyethylene which is common to find and use. You just can't run your house with it. You should be able to get an adapter to transition from that to PEX. It'll likely be a brass/stainless steel barb fitting similar to PEX.

It might also be an issue when if it snows where you are. I mean I would just ask the guy to put one on that's at least 12 inches clearance. That should be a real easy fix for the roofer.

Re: Plumbing Help needed for elbow at water heater
Sharkbite if you want it quick and easy. They are nice and I have used them plenty before already with no problems myself. Only thing is I still wouldn't feel 100% safe burying one of these sharkbite fittings behind a wall. But if you have access to it they work great. Just make the pipes you are co...

Re: Drain pipe glue for cold weather
Yes, the "All Purpose" is to be good for all PVC/ABS/CPVC. I never really looked at the specs on it but I always used All Purpose just because....well I'm not too sure thats just what I always would get at the supply house lol.

Re: Drain pipe glue for cold weather
I have used the Oatey All Purpose Glue in similar conditions such as yours. I kept it inside and then used it ASAP and hit the joints with a heat lamp for a few minutes. I have not had any problems so hopefully you will not either. Also, I have used this same glue out of the work van when it got col...

Yeah, I know they are not as tight as they think but its just one of those they have to have it deals. You would probably be fine if you just eliminate it all together.

Re: Miller Gas CMF2 combustion venting issue
Typically anything 90%+ will have it's on vent pipe to draw outside air in. With the mobile home unit though what you are seeing does not only serve a purpose as a fresh air vent for the furnace but its idea too is to provide fresh air into the entire home. Basically they want x amount of fresh air ...

Re: Pilot going out
Did you verify that it is setup for Natural Gas and has not been converted to LPG? Pilot could just possibly be dirty, giving it a good blowing out usually helps. There's lot's of DIY guides for that on the internet.

Re: problems with new thermostat
Throw up a pic of the Thermostat wiring too if you want too. I'm looking at your manual right now from the home depot site. I have a Heatpump with Gas Furnace so our wiring setup should be very similar just depends as some equipment can differ.

Re: problems with new thermostat
White was on your O/B slot on the old setup? Besides the heat pump, do you have a propane furnace, oil furnace or electric for backup heat? I'm just trying to understand the setup here. I mean you said you tried a different thermostat and it did the something. Which would seem like you eliminated th...
