Got a fan blowing in the crawl space door near it. Will have to check it to see if it dried out. I guess if it feels dry I will leave it.

Wet insulation in underbelly

We had AC problems and it looks like the drain got clogged and allowed some water to collect in the under belly in that area. I cut a small slit to let it drain and have a fan in the crawl space door for now. Should that be opened up and replace that insulation or will it dry out?

Water heater replacement?

Our home came with a 50 gallon single element water heater. It is on a 20 amp breaker with 12 gauge wire. Most of the heaters sold locally are 50 4500 dual element heaters, I know both elements don't run at the same time. But would I need to upgrade to a 10 gauge wire and 30 amp breaker? Old heater ...

Re: Coleman EB15B, banging noise?

I think I may have it fixed. finally got it to do it and be acle to get to it to check it. Felt like the blower was rapidly turning on and off. Wiggled around on things and got it to act up while playing around with the blower relay. Put a new one on it and for 24 hours it has been good, took the ol...

Coleman EB15B, banging noise?

I think I have the banging narrowed down to the blower trying to kick in and out. The problem is so intermittent that it is hard to get a meter on things to see what is losing power. Looking at the diagram should the #2 and 5 terminals on the blower relay have power all the time. Just glanced at it ...
