Hey Harry thanks for the reply I was thinking 6" too. OK, Does any kind of putty or sealant go underneath the new gutter or elsewhere during installation?

We just replaced ours with a tan colored metal roof that met the energy efficiency standards to qualify for tax reduction. Interior temp. cooler within 2 days. You need to replace the solid vinyl soffitt with the perforated kind so the system can breathe and work as intended. No regrets here.

FailSafe Brand Pex Fittings OK?

My local MH supply company sells FailSafe brand pex fittings. I noticed they have China stamped on them. Are these fittings as good as ones bougt at the big box stores?
