Re: DGAT075BDD fan won't quit running.

Hi,

The upper limit switch turns the gas valve off if overheating occurs due to dirty furnace or blower not working.

Thanks,
Robert

Re: DGAT075BDD fan won't quit running.

Hi Wade,

Probably a stuck fan relay on the control board keeping blower running.

Test across W and C on the board for 24vac. IF you read 0vac, then test across Heat and a neutral for 120vac.

IF you read 0vac at W and C, BUT read 120vac at Heat and Neutral, the board is bad.

Re: Coleman EB15B intermittent auto fan problem

Hi,

IF your home is well insulated, the t-stat should keep it within +/- 1-2 degrees.

You set it where you want the temp to be and it should keep it there or very close.

Call the supply house first, they may or may not sell to the general public.

Re: Coleman Furnace lighting then shutting down on flame fai

Hi Phil,

Yes, that is a possibility. Because this could be a safety issue and with all that you have done DIY to this point, I would call an hvac tech to thoroughly inspect and diagnose problem(s).

Re: Coleman EB15B intermittent auto fan problem

Hi, Some sequencers have a delay between coil and blower, some don't. When the top contacts close on yours, it sends power to coil and blower at same time. The timings are correct on yours. You can install a timed delay if you want to delay the blower. I don't buy t-stats from Lowe's, but have had n...

Hi George, Not having any success cross-referencing to get a valid p/n. To save time, please call Mark @ 605-229-2627 and give him the info on condenser and fan motor and dual run cap. You can send him pics at [email protected].com . Mark owns the websites and online stores and ships from his wa...

Re: Induced draft adjustment?

Hi,

Sorry but that needs to be addressed by an hvac tech. Lot more involved than just the the burner flame and how it looks.

Re: Condensor Fan Not Running

Hi George, I don't have any cross-reference data for that Carrier heat pump. Look and see if you can read the sticker or printed specs on the old one. Look for mfd or uf rating and for the VAC rating. VAC will be 370 or 440. Do not touch the terminals, the run cap could still possibly be charged wit...

Re: Pressure switch bypassing for testing

Hi TW,

Just as an added note, if you pay the $20 fee and detail to me in an email what is happening, I may have a good idea of whether it is the pressure switch.

IF I feel it is not, then you can get a refund minus shipping IF you do not install it.

Robert

Re: Pressure switch bypassing for testing

Hi TW, So he charged $119.00 for a guesstimate ???? IF he did not do the work to determine the problem, he would NOT have been paid. They can be tested by a experienced and reputable hvac tech to know for sure. I would not advise bypassing it as it is a safety part. It may or may not actually be the...

Hi George,
