Wall mount propane heaters

Just a question to fellow Canadians. Can we install a wall mount propane heater in a mobile home? they look great, but been having problems, as every manual tells me great, if in the USA, but not so great in Canada. Any thoughts or input would help, thanks

Battery back up pellet stove

I am looking to build a battery back up for my pellet stove. Northern Canadian winters tend to have a few power outages. Have the batteries and the inverter, but am dumb founded when it comes to what a transfer switch looks like, let alone how to hook one up. Does anyone have any experience or knowl...

Miller Furnace

I have a Miller furnace with a seized motor. I heat my home with a pellet stove and use the furnace to circulate the air in the home. There are so many model #'s in there I have no clue which one is mine. I am too cheap to pay the $300.00 for someone to replace it, the going rate where I live. My qu...

We live in our Mobile and we are still renovating. We did the bathroom and the plumbing first. Then insulated the skirting. Being in Northern Canada heat retention was #1

Re: Heating the underside of Single wide

Thanks for all the help. The only reason I am asking this question is, it is looking like another year of no furnace, (we are on a waiting list for a propane tank). My furnace is 80,000btu in and 64,000 btu out, there is one vent from the furnace down there. For this winter I put all my water lines ...

Heating the underside of Single wide

I am trying to figure out how much space is under my single wide. It's 14x68, one end the home is 2' off the ground, the opposite end is' 5' off the ground. The end that is 5' off the ground I would like to hang a electric wall heater, but have no clue what sq footage I need. The skirting walls are ...

Re: Walk in Shower

After getting advise from this forum and going out and pricing the parts the crimp style is the best. For $20.00 I can use the crimp styles and that will do the entire bathroom. For $250.00 I can use the push types for the same job. To top it all off my neighbor down the road has a professional crim...

Walk in Shower

I would like to start of by saying I love this forum, I have learnt so much, thanks. I have a Mid 70's Atco single wide 14x70 and am in the middle of a complete reno on the bathroom. The bathroom is 7'1"w by 10'4", is it possible to put in a walk in shower with no door, with a pony wall that is half...
