Home gets too hot with new furnace

Hi guys....just had a new thermo pride furnace put in replacing the old miller. If I set the temp to 65 ....the room with the thermostat in it (the rest of the home too) goes up to 70.......too hot for me. I can't get it to stay at the temp I set it at. I didn't have this problem wiith the miller so...

Thanks fellas... I was so sick of smelling the kerosene that I was looking for leaks at 3 AM today. And,you were right. The supply line connection wasn't tight enough and there was kero on the line where it's connected to the burner. He said he tightened it even more and I should have no more proble...

Smell of kerosene after new furnace install

Back again fellas.....as I said I had a new thermo pride kerosene burning furnace installed. Now,I am getting a a strong smell of raw kerosene coming from the opening where the lines run from the furnace to the supply lines under the furnace.Should I smell ANY kerosene odor at all from this furnace ...

Thanks fellas....the closet door is only 5 ft from floor to the top of the door. Above that is an opening with a wooden like grate...pretty much near the ceiling. The fins on the Thermo pride are pretty wide apart and suck the door closed.The miller grill had smaller openings and did not suck the do...

New Thermo Pride furnace needs air

Happy Thanksgiving.....I just replaced a Miller oil burning furnace with a Thermo Pride. With the Miller I could keep the closet door closed. The new furnace needs a Louver/grill whatever you call it installed in the closet door. The intake is so strong it sucks the door in towards the grill of the ...
