Thin Layer Of Steam On Inside Of Belly Bag

Hello. Last night I was underneath my mobile home and decided to cut open the belly bag to check for leaks. While there was no condensed liquid, I could feel the thinnest layer of steam on the interior side of the belly plastic. I am guessing this is normal because of the temperature difference from...

Wood Preservative For Steps

Hello all. I had some steps built last fall from treated wood, green in color, and this spring I want to soak them down in preservative to make sure they last a long time. My first inclination is copper naphthenate, which is probably the same stuff the lumber was originally treated with. M...

Plugged Condensate Drain

My home is only a few months old and the furnace had been making grinding / clicking noises. A call to the HVAC guy solicited an immediate response....sure enough the condensate drain was plugged. I tried a little methyl hydrate, some diluted CLR, flushing as much as possible with water but it will ...

Quieting A Properly Working Intertherm M7RL045A

Hello from a new home in Northern Alberta. This is my first manufactured home. Previously I had a "normal" home with an old furnace in the basement. The new home/furnace makes a fair bit more noise than the old one and I am having trouble getting used to the new M7RL045A.....especially sle...

Better Quality Heat Tape For Water Riser?

Hello from a new home in Northern Alberta. My water input consists of a vertical 1" black plastic riser inside a 4" white plastic culvert. The culvert is 10' long with 3' above ground and 7' below. Department store (orange and black) constant wattage heat tape is attached to the ...
