Re: flex hose at end of duct work

Now that you mention that, no my last register is offset with the rest. They must be using the flex tube to go under the i-beam. Thanks for the help.

Re: belly wrap/insulation question

So the idea is to use the encapsulated insulation as both the insulation and the belly wrap? If so, do I put the vapor barrier side of it facing the ground? Just wondering because it mentions putting the vapor barrier side against the floor. Thanks for the help everyone.

Re: flex hose at end of duct work

Yes it is a single wide so I know it's not a crossover. It possibly could be running to the last register that is in the master bathroom. Like ponch37300 said above, it's weird that they would switch to that at the very end of the duct work.

flex hose at end of duct work

I was under my trailer tearing out damaged insulation and I noticed a plastic flex hose coming out of the end of the duct work. It curves around into a good area of belly wrap where I don't want to cut into to keep following where it goes. Does anyone know what it might be?

Re: belly wrap/insulation question

I live in southern Ohio. So how do I get the insulation to hang below the joists? Do I still use the batte type insulation that normally goes in between the joists. Just trying to picture that stuff just hanging there below the joists.

belly wrap/insulation question

I'm in the process of tearing out the belly wrap from under my single wide. A lot of it was damaged due to stray cats getting in there from previous unfixed holes after water line repairs. Anyways I noticed that about a quarter of the length of the trailer has the batte style insulation up in betwee...
