The shower pan has to have the drain disconnected from the underside.
Once that's loose just rip the sucker out.

Re: Upgrading central air
I was afraid of that.
I really don't want to have to cut into the underbelly and fool with all that. But you are right

Upgrading central air
Anybody have any thoughts, advice on upgrading central air. My 10 year old unit is running fine but aging. It's a 4 ton Goldman unit. I'm thinking about upgrading to something with higher seers. I can do all the installation myself and have an uncle that has an epa license for the freon. From my loo...

Re: Clayton doublewide - roof sagging/installed wrong
Definitely want to see those pics. I use a photobucket.com as my image hoster. Were you have problems with cooling/heating efficiency? Mold? What's the fix? I would imagine since the floors are level the roof has just settled into that opened position. Probably jack up the side get the roof to meet....

Re: Clayton doublewide - roof sagging/installed wrong
6 inches of separation???
That's crazy
You must have all kinds of separation issues on the ceiling
I had a similar issue but I was only an inch off at an end.

Re: Window A/C unit and water
While it's running look at it from the outside and try to see any water running off the unit into the house.
Get a friend to spray some water above the unit as if it was rain and try to see from the inside if any water is getting in.
Basically you are just going to have to look till you find it.

Re: Wet crossover duct insulation
I considered the plugged drain but it's not that. Drain is flowing fine out its exit pipe. And like I said it on the Opposite end of under the ac unit. I'll replace it. I'm likely going to take some water under the house from this flood that's coming in. I'll wait till that clears out next month bef...

Wet crossover duct insulation
So I was poking around under my house preparing for a flood when I came across my crossover duct It's saggy on one side the side opposite the av blower unit. I checked it out and the insulation is soaked through. I can't figure out where the water came from. I cut into the insulation and checked the...

Re: drafty kitchen window
pulled the itnerior trim and found the problem. now. would you go ahead and pull the interior trim around the entire window? or would you just seal the lower portion. thats where i primarily felt the draft. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/jaw_belize/F308FF58-149D-4A41-9983-96154536E3CB_zpsrh...
