Discussion on Mobile Home Piers & Tie-Downs

I apologize in advance for the length and volume of questions here, but those involved here are pretty anal about getting things right from the get-go. 1989 Single Wide Mobile Home (64' x 14') complete rehab and overhaul down to the bones. I've researched and read everything I can find on this subje...

Re: Roof, Siding or Windows & Doors. What Order?

Funny thing.... I was putting up some storage shelves in a closet yesterday. The shelves were directly p...

Re: Replacing old Poly stuff with PEX, have ?

Replacing old Poly stuff with PEX, have ?

No solar no wind, trust me no selling back to the power company. That's all out. Duke Energy owns the lake and all the power plants here on the lake. They have been...

What is the meter mounted on the mobile home???

Forgive me if this seems life a dumb question but.... I just purchased an older mobile home (a fixer-upper) I have what appears to be 2 electric meters. 1 electric meter that is mounted on a post about 4 feet from the house. I am pretty sure this actually belongs to the electric company and is the o...
