Cement Stairs

The cement stairs on my mobile home are not the same height. The first step is about twice as high as the next two steps. Can I have another step added? Is it something that I can do myself?

Painting Kitchen Cabinets

We own a 1979 Fleetwood Mobile Home. I am not sure what type of material was used to make these cabinets. I think it is a laminated wood over press board. Is it possible to paint the cabinets? Can you give me some idea of what type of prep work I would need to do and what type of paint would work be...
