Louver doors for M3Rl-80
Would a 1/2 louver door be enough for return air when the furnace is in a closet about double it's size?

Re: RE: M3RL verticle venting
On the concentric kit no need to worry about rainwater in the exhaust. It will work its way down and run out the condensate drain. That is how its designed. Other option is to run two separate 3" pipes. 1 for intake & 1 for exhaust and put elbows facing down & away from each other. The...

Re: RE: New M3RL
It has been a good project, new gas line/meter from main, new piping through the attic, new gas (tankless) Rinnai water heater, a new Rinnai wall heater, & the furnace replacement. I just hope the cost of gas doesn't skyrocket. Thanks for all of your advice. Brian It Hi Brian, Should be ok, but ...

New M3RL
I will be ordering a new M3RL natural gas furnace next week to replace the exsisting CMF oil. Does M3RL-080A-BW sound ok? Do you have to mention natural gas to get that type? Or is it the default? I will be getting a concentric vent term. kit, part # 904176 (3"). I hope the ordering numbers are...

RE: M3RL verticle venting
My current setup has a stainless steel raincap which goes vertically down to the furnace with no bends. The new M3RL will be the same concept with a concentric vent kit in the attic & through the roof. The kit has a raincap that protects the intake air (5" outer) but nothing for the exhaust...

M3RL verticle venting
Is there a made up attic stop/addapter for the 3" exhaust & combustion pipes similiar to the CMF ceiling plate for a verticle install?
Is there any pdf documents of these parts & setups? I haven't seen any roof rain caps for the exhaust either. Thanks,
Brian

Replacement question
How difficult or easy would a GC9S080B12MP11 (95 pct. afue multi furnace) install be to replace a Miller CMF. The issue would be mounting on the base plate.

Operating Noise
Is there any more running (operating) noise on the M3RL series than the CMF series? I am pondering about the extra fan on the M3RL's induced draft.

The model # is M1BB086ABW. Is it a down draft & natural gas?Rod wrote:Looks like a M1 series apprx 80% model. Its A/C compatible but does it include coil/condensor & the other items needed for the install.
If you can get model & serial # we can tell you more.
