Re: Water hookup responsibility question.
I am not sure if there is any law that states who is responsible for what. You need to remember that the park is a Private watersystem so you have a private system hooked to a private system. Common sense would tell you that the park is responsible for the valve, as you say if someone leaves they c...

Water hookup responsibility question.
My neighbor has a water leak at the shutoff valve underground. The trailer park management is telling him that he is responsible for the repairs. I'm ignorant of the law, but suspect that the trailer park management is wrong. I thought that it wasn't a renter's responsibility until after the shutoff...

Title.
On a comical note: I thought the title of the thread meant; that the president of Coleman is a lousy pilot (as in boat or aircraft).bucklee wrote:coleman president no pilot

Re: Fan blowing, but no forced air out the vents
my husband opened up under our house for our cats to take refuge under the house You might want to build a cathouse so you're not tempted to let them under the house and they're not tempted to try to get under the house if they're out. I fostered a cat/kitten for a while. I had to put it outside so...

Re: Small roaches & mice in my house
A different type of roach? There are different types of roaches; however you might want to take a closer look at them and make sure they really are roaches. They might be bedbugs. Bedbugs are fairly small and could be mistaken for baby roaches (at a distance or if your eyes are bad) or baby stink bu...

When/if you replace your water heater be sure to get a pan (specifically made for this purpose) to set your tank into. We also sell in our online parts store water/moisture detectors, you set it near your tank or other incoming water areas and it will sound an alarm when moisture is present Thanks....

The water heater has probably rusted through and you probably have a pinhole in the hot water heater tank. I doubt it would be condensation because a hot water heater tank is relatively hot and less likely to have condensation. Even if there was condensation would be doubtful enough that enough woul...

SchemeFighter, You obviousy have never had hard water. In hard water you are lucky to get 2 years out of elements. If you get 6 years out of the heater you are doing good. Greg Technically yes I do have hard water. However; the mineral content is so low that you would likely scoff and/or disagree. ...

At this point it sounds like prayers might be in order. Pray that the water pipes aren’t broken or won’t be broken. Waiting things out may be your best option and helping her live with the situation in the mean time. Bringing her a couple buckets of water a day so she can flush the toilet and a bott...

RE: Popping Water heater
Kim, Since there is well water involved, I would guess there is also hard water with lime & other minerals. I would start by draining the bottom of the tank and see what comes out. If you have a heavy build up It may be time to look into replacing the heater. Heaters are really not that expensi...

RE: Popping Water heater
That would make me paranoid. It could be something as simple and harmless as expansion and contraction; but it could be something very dangerous like a short; which could be a shock or a fire hazard. Since its electric heater I would turn off the electric power to it; then take a shower while the wa...

I don’t hardly live in as cold climate as you do. However I am also disabled and financially challenged (poor). I don’t have the type of skirting that has deliberate vents; but I have used white ( gray tape)/duct tape to try to seal up any gaps or holes from stones thrown by lawnmowers. I used alcoh...
