CMF 80 PG
It's been awhile since I've been on the site but I could use some help. I have a Miller CMF 80 PG furnace. 2 weeks ago, when I opened the house, the furnace was not running. The T-stat was set at 55 but the temp in the house was so low the digital readout only said "low" (luckily no pipes ...

Miller Furnace
I have a Miller Model CMF80-PG propane furnace serial number MA0488-00496. When the T-stat calls for heat, the burner comes on and a short while later the blower kicks in but only runs for 2-3 minutes and shuts off for a minute or two before starting again. This continues until the set temperature i...

RE: Roof Jack Extension
I was able to get the old roof jack installed this weekend. My whole problem was that I didn't have enough of the pipe showing through the roof to install the boot and properly seal it. I was able, (with much difficulty) to force the silicone boot over the part I had removed and then seal and instal...

RE: Almost there!
Harry, the panels I used were made by American Building Components. Their website is; www.abcmetalroofing.com They have various locations throughout the US. The closest distributor to you looks like Adel, Georgia but they ship anywhere. The panels I used were 26ga. PBR. I ordered them full length at...

RE: Almost there!
I just looked at the manufacturers website for the corner trim profile. They have all of the dimensions and I think you're right. That might fit perfectly. I will measure everything up this weekend and verify and then see if they will take it back. It wont work on the front of the house though. On t...

RE: Almost there!
Thanks JD! I had to replace a total of 12 sheets! All of the boards along the eaves on both sides and the one around the roof jack! All I have left to do now is figure out how I'm going to set the rake trim. The ones that I bought with the system are made for a 2x8 or a 2x10 rake board and mine are ...

RE: Roof Jack Extension
Thanks Robert. I've been looking at the Nordyne store but for some reason I can't view the pictures, so I'm not sure if they are correct. From what I can see during my internet research, most of the extensions don't have the 4" flue, with a 6" intermediate, and an 8"outer. If I need t...

It took alot of work but I got the new metal roof on! I ran into a problem with the rake trim not fitting correctly so I have to work that out. I also have to finish sealing up the vent pipes etc. but I posted some pics of the entire project from start to finish in my profile. I'm so glad I decided ...

RE: Roof Jack Extension
I haven't heard from Robert yet but I posted a picture of the inside. Anyone have any ideas where I can get an extension? With the new roof there is not enough through the metal roof to put the boot on so I can seal it properly.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Roof Jack Extension
I am in the process of putting a new metal roof and I need to extent the Roof Jack a minum of 8". I've been looking at numerous websites and can't find the exact match. The current pipe has a 4" inner, a 6 inch intermediate, and an 8 in outer. There is a picture of the complete assembly in...

RE: Roof Question
Thanks for the response JD. I'll make sure I stay away from those marriage beams. The house does have vaulted ceilings. Oh, by the way, I did do a proper measurement of the roof slope and it is 3:12 I am ordering the rolled ridge material and metal ridge cap as well. Decided to go with 26 gauge pane...
