I was being a bit sarcastic with the word rookie. Experienced or not, looking at the whole scenario and how it went down, you can't tell me the pilot had control of the whole situation from beginning to the end. And the infant being underwater as well as others, and the only injury being 2 broken le...

Don't forget the drip edges. Lowes sells the 'Geneva drip edges' and H.Depot sells another type, usually in the flashing/roofing area. The drip edge extends off the edge of the shingle so the water drips into your gutter, and not in between the gutter and the soffice/gable area. It's $4.00 per 10' s...

Here's a little info on roofovers through Permaroof. I've gotten a few estimates from them as well as a local company here in S.C. The local company is overall cheaper, but you can at least request materials or more info on it from Permaroof in the meantime. I have a few people that have recently do...

Stick a flashlight down under your register, use a small mirror in your hand and point it down the trunk line. You may see if it's not connected that way. Should see solid silver/ductwork. May have to do it on 2 different registers (example the register your having problems with and the next one dow...

I too had a large crack, starting where the roof met the wall, and going up (cathedral ceiling type) to near the middle joint. you can buy something called Jig a patch which comes in a 3 in 1 can. Spray, scrape the mixture after a minute or two then use the included 3m sander/buffer pad to smooth it...

I'd agree, some form of water has dripped/leaked/run down and discolored it. Might want to check some shingles up on the roof, a few feet above where the spot would be of the damage, and see if any shingles or loose or roofing paper has torn. Could be seeping in there, or is there a roof vent nearby...

RE: Need to find manufacture address

Not the same name or dealership, but at least here's another mobile home dealer in Henrietta. Since it's not a huge town, maybe call them and ask of Smith Industries or Peachtree homes? SILVERCREEK HOMES P.O. Box 150 Henrietta, TX 76365 (940) 538-6600 Here's another i just found: Big 3 Mobile Homes ...

has it hit 70 degrees yet? since your thermostat is set at 70, you won't have the furnace/blower go off until it hits 70. move it up to 74, it should go off. or your other option is to wait until the house cools down to 70, then it should shut off.
