RE: Neighbors

Hi Maureen, just for everyones information, I do not want to come off as a dog hater. There is nothing further from the truth. As a matter of fact I get along with pets better than some people. My concern is more with the owners than the dog. I too get by on short sleep cycles . Dogs need to be trai...

RE: Always something happening here!

Thanks JD. water has receded away from all the homes and streets are open for flood victims to return to there homes. things are looking normal again and the only evidence of a flood is ground water in some yards. snow pack is heavy but most of it is higher up the mountains so chance of another flas...

RE: Always something happening here!

Evacuation alerts have been lifted and people are returning to their homes. many people are breathing a sigh of relief. Its raining light to moderate but no heavy downpours and weather is cool. An elderly lady from my church had flooded within an inch of coming into her home before the water receded...

RE: Always something happening here!

Hi Yanita! actually 4 years ago I went through flooding when we lived in New Remo which is just 10 minutes outside of town. I went to check it today and it had already surpassed the highest level it was at 4 years ago and this is only the start of the flooding. We have already broken the flood recor...

RE: Always something happening here!

I live in the same park as Kelly & I am only 4 homes down from the end. Today I had a look at the river and it's in the back yard of the end home. It looks like the river went up 2 feet overnight and they are calling for it to go up another foot today. If it doesn't recede and keeps building up ...

RE: Totally lost and taken for a ride

The problem with what Mike said is that this problem home would get dumped onto someone else and you would probably have a hard time selling the home and possibly lose a substantial amount of money on it. I am working on a home right now where a senior 2 months away from pension got taken in on a ni...

RE: What is the lifespan of a mobile home?

Hi, I agree with Maureen & JD. A home will last only as long as you want it to so long as you keep up on the maintenance. If you start with a structurally sound home and maintain it as you would an automobile that you want to last then you could live in it for as long as you like. My home is als...
