Has anyone ever did this. How big of a job would it be to do this. Our water is so hard that they would have to dillute it to get it to show on the test kit. We have to replace our heating element once to twice a year. It has so much lime that you can't hardly get the element out and you sure can't ...

Dryer ventalation

Can anyone tell me why anybody would cut a whole in the floor and run the vent down under the trailer? This one was like that when we bought it. There is a plate on the wall already behind the dryer it looks like it is about a ft. off the floor. The vent would go up hill. Wouldn't that cause the lin...

RE: Flooring

The tile that I'm using is not ceramic. It's 12x12 squares of heavy lanoleum. Very flexable. They come 20 to a box. Just peel and stick.

RE: Flooring

This tile is just flexable squares. They are alot heavier than regular stick downs. You can still cut it with scissors or carpenters knife. The edges are more rounded off than just straight cut. I'll send some pics. when I start. My mom's floors is not completely level and it really looks good. My br...

RE: Flooring

Thanks so much Arlo. I'm just going to clean my floor really good (it's lanoleum) and stick the tile down over it. I'm really nearvous about doing it and the thought of taking up that small trim around the floor without breaking it and what to do when I come to the next room because it all hooks tog...

RE: Finally got some landscaping done

Along our lane there's a curve up into the drive and I planted a red bud, a lynwood gold forsythia, some ornamental grass, and lined the curve with the rocks, added an old crock we found in the creek and some landscaping lights. Finally got some landscaping done

I became a member back in the winter. I spent the whole winter looking at what would be the best plants for my landscape. I am a total beginner at this. It really didn't turn out to bad. I did add some trees for shade also. I'm still not done but got a good start. With the rain this year the plants ...
