Re: Black pipe unable to use shark teeth connections

Thank you for your help. I, also, found out that the piping in the picture is for fabric softener due to the hard water in this park. Unfortunately its useless plumbing cause its not used. Anyway I cut the connection underneath the home and added a connection that goes straight to the water heater.

Re: Black pipe unable to use shark teeth connections

Isn't the connection I used a push in insert? I think I didn't let it dry long enough.

Black pipe unable to use shark teeth connections

This picture Broken pipe.jpg Shows what I started with. I wish I'd have cut the pipe on the small section of white pipe but I wanted to clean it up so I didn't. Now I'm having problems because the black pipe isn't 3/4" or 1" which would enable me to use shark teeth connections. I tried a r...

Outdoor Lighting

Hi all, I'm going to have my mobile home painted and am trying to clean up the outside of my home. My outdoor lights on the side of the home have globs of caulking all around them due to the large gaps around the lighting. Does anyone have any recommendations for something that I can put around the ...

Re: Toilet Flange

I thought maybe I needed some kind of special flange that they make. I wonder why they glued this 3 x 4 inch piece inside the 3 inch pipe. I'm thinking I might have to cut that piece out of my 3" drain pipe and start all over. Anyone ever use a 3" x 4" connection with a flange before?

Re: Toilet Flange

I appreciate the video but my application is different. In the video they glue a flange to a 3" pipe. My 3" pipe has a 3" x 4" connection glued to it and says ring must be fastened to floor on it.

Toilet Flange

I have to fix my rotted floor in my bathroom and when I pulled the rotted floor up the toilet flange came right up with it. Isn't the flange supposed to be glued into the drain pipe? Here is a couple pictures of what I have left. IMG_1041.JPG IMG_1040.JPG Now I don't know what to do. I don't know if...

Here is what it looks like after 3 hours of sucking the water up with a shop vac.

I don't know what to do. I was thinking of throwing a ton of dirt under there and try to level the ground or am I fighting a losing battle?

Water under mobile home

We've been in our mobile home for a few years now. Don't know much about them but love it here and have a decent yard for a mobile home park. One big problem. The front of our home gets a lot of water under it. I am sick to my stomach over it. We hauled in 6 truckloads of dirt and threw the dirt und...

Level Mobile Home

I live in a 14 x 70 mobile home. The previous owner put in new windows although the mobile home had shifted. I was thinking of having it leveled but people have told me that since the home had windows put in when it was shifted that after leveling it the windows might not open and close anymore. Can...

Re: Hanging Kitchen Cabinets

Two of the cabinets are being hung right up to the ceiling. would it be ok to put some screws through the top of the cabinet into the ceiling for support?
