Hi everyone,
Have any of you tried the Topsy Turvy yet. I got two of them at Wal-Mart the other day. Hubby and I are going to compete with whom of us can grow the best/largest/most tomatoes. I'm doing the beefsteak tomatoes. Any advice on this and the planter.

RE: Stimulus opinions
Hey Harry,
Obama came on TV today after I ask my questions on here and went into a little more detail about it. You know Harry, after all this time, I've just today noticed you're from Citrus county. I'm over here in Marion County. Thanks for your reply.

Stimulus opinions
Hi everyone, Been a while since I've written. I read regular tho. I'm still waiting for your opinions on the stimulus that was just passed. I have so much thought on it that it would take too long. Are they really helping out the homeowners who would normally file bankruptcy if they've lost their jo...

Tough skin cherry tomatoes
Hi,
A friend of mine who grew tomatoes this year gave me a bunch of them but they've got a tough skin on them. Any recipes of what to do with them. The taste of them is good but that tough skin ruins it to eat alone.

Hi everybody, its been awhile. I just had to reply to this one. I think children just want to confuse us sometimes. Our son, now 29, is so different than when we were raising him. We had an on going struggle with him over the simplest chores the entire time we were raising him. I mean it disrupted o...

RE: Looking for these members
Hi Everyone, I haven't been on the site for awhile. I didn't think anyone would even notice that I'd be gone. Since there's not much left to do to the house I've just been getting into shopping for deals. One thing I did was to turn an entire wall in an unused bedroom into storage for canned goods e...

Your room is beautiful. If you want the window to look like one large corner window instead of two side by side windows, you could remove just the corner red panels and somehow put the white sheers close together in the corner or put the red curtains together in that corner so you can't see the corn...

RE: Installing dishwasher next to stove. Good idea?
Our dishwasher has always been next to our gas stove. There's only about 2 1/2 space between the stove and dishwasher. We've never had any problems. I always turn on our stove exhaust vent when the dishwasher is on to help take out the steam.

Hi Maureen, Just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you. When my son left home it was really bad. I had to keep reminding myself that I would be ok in time and that all the moms that I knew who had already been thru this had ended up happy again, laughing--back to normal. It seemed at times when ...

RE: blu-ray or HD
Thanks guys for answering my question. I was just concerned about all the DVD's I've bought in the past. If they don't make some kind of compromise for their new players to play the old DVD's it would, I think, hurt their business. We've got a small fortune in movies here. It's still more convenient...

RE: blu-ray or HD
Yeah I remember. I did the VHS cause the tapes they sold would tape longer. Remember getting my first one at Sears. Bet it weighed 20 pounds. We had also got one of those huge satelitte dishes and everything you could pick up out there was free. That didn't last too long though.

blu-ray or HD
I just read online that we will have to choose between the two and that one won't play the other. That just sucks. What about my huge selection of DVD's I have now. What info do any of you have about it. You think they will come up with something that will do the blu-ray/HD that can also play all my...

I wouldn't put too much out cause it's a health hazard to breathe it. The box should have a warning, but if not, I've read that it could cause cancer by breathing it over long term etc.

RE: wiring for new ceiling fixture
I was kinda scared but hubby figured since he had already tried one of the 3 white wires and that it had already kicked the breaker then that only left two white wires to try and that if it had of been the wrong white wire then it would have kicked the same breaker. He just got lucky that the next w...
