could it be possible that another appliance is interfering with the frequency ? For me I had a food dehydrator on in the garage and the remote would not work unless I was 2 feet from the door turned off the dehydrator and worked as normal :)

After seeing a post about bathtubs, I have a question.... I want to replace the kitchen sink chrome Strainer Bodies along with new strainer baskets. Will a standard size work? the outside a/c unit that is close to the living room wall produces noise through the return vent. Is there a way to reduce the noise ? I used a paneling blade turned backwards to trim the new metal roof and it worked good

thank you for all the info...... one more thing I was tossing around is I may take my electric metal shears and cut a couple ventilation holes in the metal siding before adding the furring strips and house wrap ?

you mention the siding creates a 2nd vapor barrier that traps moisture.... does the moisture appear on the interior walls or exterior
