Our trim is damaged around our door from a hail storm. We have normal in swing doors, the storm doors are mounted to a molding, where the siding goes into what would normaly be j channel there is this piece like j channel but wider with a lip that also goes under the molding. Any idea where I can order this? I have google and search parts places online with out finding any thing that looks like it.

There may different sized J channel available, Check with a few siding wholesale houses in your area. You may find that you have to get a little creative.

So far no luck, theirs is not as wide and does not have the extra flange on it.

If you take a piece with you or take measurements to your local siding supplier they be able to custom bend something for you out of stock coil.
