higher gas bill

I recently had my furnace replaced. It went from a Coleman 80 percent standing pilot, to a comfort-air 80 plus with electric ignition. My gas bill has jumped double form last year. I was curious if the roof jack not being replaced would do this? I have had the gas line leak checked and all is well. I am just wondering if it could be the new furnace using more gas.

Should always replace roof jack with new furnace. Shouldn't be cause of doubling your bill, may want to call them back out to see what is wrong.

Thanks,
