Hi all,
First time poster, long time guest. Here's my trouble...My swamp cooler (don't know manufacturer) has settings for pump, high cool, low cool, high fan, and low fan. When I turn it to: pump, pump runs; high cool, fan runs slow; low cool, nothing; high fan, fan runs slow; low fan, nothing. The motor is definitely a two speed motor. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Swamp cooler trouble
Hi,
You would need to determine if the motor is getting full power.
Test circuit, run capacitors to check voltage with a meter.
This being an electrical problem and being in close proximity with water, may be best to call a Tech.
If the motor is receiving full power, replace the motor.
Take care and best wishes,
Robert
