Dumb question

how much can MH walls hold?
I'm installing some torsion box shelving (floating shelves) but don't want my walls to collapse <-- it's dramatic I know

Hi,
Personally I see no reason why you can't do this...our kitchen cupboards are much heavier than those shelves. I would however make sure that every screw is in a stud.

Here's another idea for those type shelves without building the whole thing. You can also use screws instead of glue like they describe.

that's what I'm going to do, actually. In most of the rooms where there won't be heavy stuff on the shelves, great minds think alike!
