Hi,

It can be the sequencer with one or more elements staying energized and limit clicking to shut off due to no blower also.

That's why I suggested checking coils by removing blower assembly. It can be either and do same thing.

If coils are fine, it's the sequencer. Very quick and easy process to find which it is without buying any unneeded parts.

Thanks,
Robert

It is fixed now, thank goodness! The hvac tech came out and had it fixed in about 15-20 minutes. He said something about heat strips. Not sure, but happy it's fixed. Was only $95.

Thanks for all your help! Appreciate it!

Hi,

You're welcome, happy to help.

Probably the elements had one fallen down and touching sides.

Very easy fix and could have saved ya $95.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert

There was a short in one of the heat strips. He said there was an extremely low risk of fire, nothing to worry about. Precautions are built in. We would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks, again.

Hi,

Ok, just know that there is no extremely low risk of fire. I have been servicing, repairing and installing hvac for 30 years come August.

The safeties are there, but with a short, a lot can/does go wrong and fires happen frequently.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
