I looked at the solar panel and thought it's very nice. I'm probably going to build one of my own, but a few questions first.
Isn't this also known as a Trombe Wall?
What is the purpose of the panels to make the hot air go back and forth in the collector?
If the air gets hotter before it goes into the building because it's traveled a longer distance is there any advantage using this layout over just letting the hot air rise directly to the top?
What is the purpose of the "bumps" to mix the air and create turbulence?
I realize solar research is still in it's infancy, but are there any studies that show this is a better configuration?
thanks very much for any comments.
