I was running the air conditioner yesterday and noticed that it just didn't seem to be blowing as hard it should out of all the vents. I kept going around and checking the vents and pretty soon there was not hardly any air blowing from any of the vents, so I shut it off. The blower never sounded any different than normal either.
After being off overnight, I tried it again this morning and it runs fine now. Blows pretty good out of all the vents. I'd hate for this to happen when it gets hot this summer. Thanks for any help!

Hi,

Have you ever had the system cleaned and serviced ?

You may have had your a-coil freezing up and when off, it thawed out.

Also could be blower slowing due to overheating.

Either way, a clean and service check by a Tech would find the problem.

You can go to top toolbar, click HVAC, then click Articles and see our articles on cleaning the air conditioner and cleaning the blower motor.

Do those and if it happens again, call a Tech to check the refrigerant charge.

Thanks,
Robert
