Have someone who's back bathroom is freezing cold in the winter time. He wants to insulate under the siding in just the back of the house. Anyone run into this problem? I ma thinking about taking the siding off the back of the house as well as the board to expose the walls and throw some good insulation into the walls and then put that insulation board up before putting siding back on. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Have you checked to make sure that the duct work to that room is in tack? Sometimes they can separate, get kinked from critters getting under the home. While you are under there check for the floor insulation being in place as well.

Think I would check a few options before I went ahead and ripped off the siding.

Yeah I have to take a look. My neighbor is the one that wants me to do this for him. I think the first thing to try would be to close the register closest to the furnace and open up slightly until all the way open in that back bathroom.
