"IF" i replaced subfloor in a DW that has been on same foundation 35 years, (not concerned about relocation issues) should I stagger seams to go over and across the center marriage seam where the 2x6's of each half were butted together OR should I maintain the original separation seam down the middle for some reason I'm not aware of? It's an open floor plan in this area, the center seam is 15' long and roughly in the middle length wise. It seems weird to intentionally lay subfloor without staggering the seams but maybe there is something i'm not thinking of? thanks.
As long as you are comfortable with it, go ahead a stagger the seams. If the need ever arises you can always cut along the marriage line.
