Before I buy one, is there an installation guide?

Took it apart, of course the motor was on the back side. I removed the 3 screws holding the stack to the furnace and rotated the whole piece. Remove the 2 smaller Philips screws, pay attention to how it's mounted. The armature for the motor has a hole in it for the spring that pulls the damp closed. It gets reattached from the backside of the armature. The armature is like a U at the end. Slide the motor down and out. Insert the damper arm into the U on the armature after reattaching the spring, and hole the armature at the 12 O'clock position/up and realign the screws.
