We recently moved into a brand new 2008 Clayton Cheyenne with the above referenced gas heater.

After about 7 days we now hear a buzzing from the furnace. As I have training in electronics I took off the cover and located the buzzing from a transformer. Model 621807 is buzzing away.

I conclude that this transformer is going bad, already, and have ordered a replacement.

Would you concur with this course of action. All else appears fine with the operation of the heater /furnace.
Thanks

Hi,

Yes and no. By doing this and not being licensed/certified, you will void the warranty on the furnace.

It would be best to call and have it repaired under warranty by a certified warranty Tech.

Thanks for inquiring,
Robert
