The main gas valve ignites fine ! but only stays on for 5 or 6 seconds then dies!!! The flame sensor does detect a flame for those 5 or 6 seconds (yellow led glows steady). I've replaced the glow plug/sensor. I've replaced the entire gas valve. Still no luck!!
By the way the furnace is 2 years old but I have personally never seen it work. Jonathan 727-5424294

Hi Jonathan,

If it never has worked, did you ever call out a Tech while still under warranty ?


Place meter leads on the gas valve terminals and see if the gas valve remains energized at time it stops or does it lose the 24-28VAC.
