I follow the view that in the future, keeping up with demand will require every type of power generation tech there is,and, the development of more types, and, improving on all of it as time goes.**Especially** when/if coal is ever deemed "too dirty to use" even with clean coal tech.
We had better not put all our eggs in one,or even just a few baskets. We better put our efforts into all baskets and keep weaving new types. The best way to promote energy sources is to buy them, and, encourage others to do the same. If you know folks with the money, gently get after them to invest,,every once in a while put a bug in their ear to artfully keep them thinking on it. As more folks buy it,in a market driven world,it *should* become less costly until we all can afford it.
That's my take on it.
