Killer dog will work for treat

A couple days back -"something" - got up under the house...and of course it munched its way into the belly. I would hear it banging around down there - sounded like a wild boar pig!
But! My fearless and super vigilant 4-legged friend caught the enemy - a small possum - out running some late night errands! He grabbed that possum and shook it like a rag doll, slung him many times up into the air - pounced a few more times - and then stood over it just waiting.... Alas, the possum had met his match! I scooped him up and put him in a steel trashcan....and he was stiff as a board the next morning.
Of course, my little buddy got an extra dog bone-treat. It was a good day for all.
Now to go patch the hole in the belly and block the entrance through the skirting.....
