Hello - I am considering purchase of a MH but would like opinion about whether the attached pic of slab looks like a major and expensive repair job. The home is in upstate NY in a mountainous area. It is a fixer upper for sure.

Thanks for any thoughts about

What is the actual condition of the slab? cracks? Where abouts in "Upstate" new York? I hate that term since to some Binghamton is "Upstate" . there are contractors that are now pumping concrete under slabs to fill voids.

The home is in Sauquoit north of Utica, There appears to be a crack in the slab
- what concerns me is the "void area"pictured under the slab - I don't know if an animal got under there and dug the area or if the void is due to settling/shifting - frost and/or thaws.

Thanks,

Kitty

I don't know if they go out that far, but I would give Woodford brothers a call, they have gotten into filling voids like you have. They may have some ideas for you.
