register filter

Has anyone used the register filters that are supposed to cut down on dust? They are rectangle and fit under the the register grill. On the package it says not to use them on every register or it may affect the air flow. They only cost a couple of dollars at Walmart so I might give them a try.

Hi,

I don't recommend them because they do reduce airflow, especially when dirty which happens quickly.

They are too easy to forget about and can through reduction of airflow create and cause a lot worse problem than you have now.
