This will probally (hopefully) be answered by Robert or hvac.
I heat with fuel oil. Hopefully it will soon be time to not heat.
Should I turn the breaker off for the summer? How about emergency switch? Or just the thermostat? Or nothing?
Last year I think I turned just the thermostat off. Just wondering.
I use window ac units so the furnace is not involved in anything else.
Thanks

You could turn the breaker off just do not forget to turn it back on before the winter. Usually the thermostat turned all the way down will do the same thing.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
