When the heater kicks on, the motor kind of grinds and is very noisy. It's been this way for quite some time but has gotten a lot worse recently, even though I've always kept it oiled.

Anyway I want to install a new motor. My question is, can I buy the motor through any place, for instance Grainger or an electric shop? Or do I have to go through a mobile home store?

The reason I ask is that the existing motor has 3 brackets spot welded to it that attach to the blower housing, so I didn't know if this motor was very common.

Thanks,
bc

Hi,

Needs to be a motor compatible with mobile home duct systems and one that is within specs for your unit.

We have it if needed.

Thanks,
Robert
