Turned on heater today, the heat works, the ac gets cold but would not turn off no matter where I turned thermostat or turned to off position. Last week, when I turned on ac, I had to turn thermostat down to around 50 degrees before ac would kick in. Had to turn off breaker. Could it be thermostat? Thanks, Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,

Possibly, is it the a/c or the furnace that stays on ?

What is furnace and/or a/c model number ?

Thanks,
Robert
