I have an Intertherm furnace in my mobile home, and when the thermostat is at its lowest setting, one of the heating elements will heat up until the limit switch turns it off. It continues to repeat this cycle over and over again as long as there is power to the furnace. When the thermostat is turned up, everything works just fine. I replaced the sequencer, after having done some checks with my meter, but I still have the same problem. Any advice? Thanks, Tim

Something is keeping that element hot all the time. The sequencer controls the elements. I would check the wiring as to compair it to the drawing/diagram on the furnace. Please post model and serial of furnace.

Remove the problem element and see if it has broken or fallen down and contacting metal frame of furnace.

Thanks,
Robert
