My ac furnace has a noise when the ac shuts off like a gurgling noise then stops after a few moments.
I suspect its the system restabilizing. Maybe its low on refriderant but its cold enough.
Maybe time to get my ac guy out to check it out just in case.

That is a normal sound as pressure in the system equalizes.

I was just curious since it didn't do it that loud a long time ago.
I sleep by myself in the room right next to the unit & can hear it loud.
It also makes after shutting down a popping noise in the air ducts like after the air is through expanding in the ducts & is trying to settle.
I hope that's what it is & not a water leak dripping somewhere.
It's stops after a short while when the ac goes off though.

Is the gurgling sound only during cooling season?

Check to be sure your condensate drain tube isn't blocked either. The dripping sound could be the pan overflowing into the duct.

Ac works great now since my last post.
Now having an issue with the furnace white rogers natural gas regulator not putting out enough flame strong enough.
Want a new reg & orifice to see if it might fix it.
Cold here in Okla.
Posted a new topic on here earlier.
Hope I get some results soon! :D
