I'm getting 1 blinking light, and when I look through the window into the furnace, I can see it's definitely not lighting. I don't see any glow at all. I also detect a faint gas odor when it tries to ignite. The heat exchanger has been replaced via the recall program. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi,

Disconnect connector where the two wires come to from the ignitor inside furnace.

Place meter leads into the furnace end of plug, set t-stat to call for heat and watch and see if after about a minute or so, you read 120VAC for about 35 seconds.

IF you do, ignitor is most likely bad.

Let me know what you read and will give ordering info if needed.

Thanks,
Robert

Multimeter is reading right around 120VAC.
