I'm glad I was able to help and hope there are no other problems. I am also glad you didn't fall off the roof! Have a great holiday.

Re: coleman 7680b 856 cuts off after firing.

If you don't have a "fan on" switch on the thermostat base I'm not sure if it is possible to run the blower on your model furnace. Some have a fan-limit switch that starts the blower by temperature while others have a control board that starts the blower after a delay. If yours has a contr...

Re: coleman 7680b 856 cuts off after firing.

The air inlet is under a hooded ring that surrounds the outside of the pipe. It could be halfway up the pipe or closer to the flue cap. You can't miss it unless it is buried in snow.

Re: coleman 7680b 856 cuts off after firing.

You probably don't want to hear this but if you have had 2+ feet of snow and high winds, there is a good chance that the combustion air inlet on the roof jack is covered with snow. Take a look outside. If you can't see the ring below the cap on the top, the combustion air inlet is probably blocked. ...

Re: electric furnace blower noisy

Hard to believe no one has responded to your question. Any electric distributor should have a motor that will replace yours. In my area we have a place called Universal Electric. You need to look for a frame number on the specs label. It will start with FR. That will ensure you get the correct physi...

Re: Coleman Evcon DGAT075BDD blinking 5 times

The gas valve is not the problem. It is energized by 24V across its terminals which would normally come from the thermostat. If it is energized with no call for heat from the thermostat (this is what the error code means), the valve is being powered from somewhere other than the thermostat - most li...

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace

Robert can better tell you if your model furnace has the type of fan-limit switch that would cycle the blower off and on if frigid temperatures exist within the home. That is not to say you don't still have a problem with the burner flame also. Did you check for spider/sac, bugs in the burner and or...

Re: Replacing Coleman Furnace

Tom, I've been following this thread for info purposes and noted an earlier post of yours in which you stated that the "furnace" goes off and on with the house at 20 degrees but the "burner" stays on throughout. Did you mean that the blower goes off and on? If your home is 20 deg...

Re: Coleman #DGAA090BDTA / Evcon:

Mark, It sounds to me like the noise you may be hearing is the combustion motor humming because it is siezed up. You should be familiar with the sound of that motor running and if you don't hear it, that's my guess. Robert should answer this soon, he's the guru. If you're comfortable removing the co...

Re: Colman Evcon DGAT070BDD Blows Cold

As usual, Robert is spot on. Just be aware that there won't be 120V at the Heat and Neutral terminals during a call for heat until the "blower on" delay time has elapsed. It could be 90, 120, or 150 seconds depending on how the jumper on the board is configured.
